Dr Monalisa Sahu, Infectious Diseases Physician was introduced to us by our plastic surgeon. Post surgery done by plastic surgeon, tissues of my dad was sent for biopsy and the result was not in our favour. My dad is super senior citizen. When We met Dr Monalisa first time, I was very impressed with her approach towards handling a super senior citizen patient. She had more patience to understand the issue from the patient directly, which helped my dad more confidence on her treatment and also reporty created between both of them. One point of time, when my dad was depressed due to his illness and the infections, Dr has motivated him and ensure that he is back to his normalcy in his mind. Within a month treatment of her, his infection level has come down drastically and he recovered completely. More than me, Dr was so particular about his weekly medical test reports and she was kept on chasing me to share his medical reports and she was interacting with me through Whatsapp about my dad’s health conditions. During the treatment, Once my Dad’s sugar level has come down very low and that time. I was in office and unable to reach out to any of my Doctor’s contact list. When I contacted her, even though she was in a conference, immediately she has attended my call and guided me with immediate steps to be followed and advised me to take him to hospital immediately, which saved my Dad’s life on that particular day. Even now, she is in regular touch with us to seek my Dad’s health even-though we are not her patient now.
