Dr Wasif azam graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. He then acquired his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Medicine from Kasturba Medical College of Manipal, Karnataka, and his Diplomate of National Board in Cardiology (DNB) from the Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad.
