She studied MBBS from the Barkatullah University of Technology, Bhopal, and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from NSCB, Jabalpur, before her DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from JLN Hospital and Research Center, Bhopal, and then received a Fellowship in High-Risk Pregnancy and Perinatology from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
