Dr. Lokeshwara Rao Sajja is a very senior, and leading Cardio Thoracic Vascular Surgeon in India with more than 3 decades of experience in the surgical management of many types of heart disease. Dr. Lokeshwara Rao Sajja did his MBBS from Guntur Medical College, Guntur, and his MS General Surgery from JIPMER, Ponicherry. He then did MCh in Cardiothoracic Surgery from AIIMS, and later obtained Fellowship in Cardio Vascular Surgery at the Texas Heart Institute, Houston, USA, and a Fellowship at the American College of Surgeons in Cardiothoracic Surgery. His illustrious career included working at prestigious institutes such as JIPMER, AIIMS, Madras Medical Mission, and he has also received many national awards and international nominations for his work related to cardiothoracic surgery and bypass graft operations.
