Dr. K.Sarat Chandra, Cardiologist

Dr. K. Sarat Chandra is an experienced and dedicated Interventional Cardiologist with nearly four decades of clinical practice in Cardiology. Dr. Sarat obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Andhra Medical College, Vishakhapatnam, a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Internal Medicine as well as his Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Cardiology from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. Dr. Sarat is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (FSCAI ), a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).

He has performed numerous surgical procedures, including heart valve replacement surgery, angioplasty, atherectomy, and stent implants. Dr. Sarat uses state-of-the-art technology to perform minimally invasive heart operations. Dr. Sarat, for his outstanding contributions to the field of Clinical & Preventive Cardiology, has been awarded the Dr. Abdul Kalam Award, a Life Time Achievement Award from the World Congress on Clinical, Preventive & Geriatric Cardiology, and the Vaidya Siromani Award by Thyagaraja Gana Sabha.

He is registered with the Telangana State Medical Council and is also a member of the Association of Physicians of India, the Indian Medical Association, the Cardiological Society of India, the Cadaver Transplantation Advisory Committee, and the Indian College of Cardiology. Book an appointment with Dr. K.
