About Dr. Chandrika Kanne Gynaecologist
Dr Chandrika Kanne is a highly-respected gynaecologist with more than 20 years of experience. She has also trained to perform laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery. Dr. Chandrika earned her MBBS at Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada in 1999. Then, she did her MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Indian Naval Hospital Ship Asvini.
Since then, she has worked at many well-known organizations, including Dr. Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital, GSL Medical College and General Hospital and Sir Gangaram Hospital. Dr. Chandrika has also worked as a professor since 2012, and has educated many undergraduates and postgraduates. She was given the “Best Teacher” award three times during her tenure at GSL Medical College. More impressively, Dr. Chandrika served in the Indian Army at two military hospitals. During Operation Parakram, she served as the officer in charge of an ambulance train with 600 beds.
