Sleep Apnea :
Sleep apnea is a disorder in which breathing rapidly stops during sleep and resumes again, thus interrupting your sleep cycle. Sleep apnea is of three types. Sleep apnea, which occurs when there is an obstruction in your airway, is called obstructive sleep apnea. Central sleep apnea is when your brain doesn't control your breathing as normal. Mixed or complex sleep apnea is a type where there is a combination of both obstructive and central sleep apnea. The common symptoms of sleep apnea are waking up repeatedly in the middle of the night, breathing pauses while sleeping, unusual breathing patterns, snoring, waking up due to shortness of breath, waking up with a sensation of choking, daytime fatigue, sleepiness or feeling tired after waking up, headaches after waking up, night sweats, feeling restless at nights, depression and anxiety.
