Hydrocele :
Hydrocele is collection of fluid in the sac of scrotum next to testicle .It usually occurs on one side but sometimes it can form on both the testicles.Hydrocele occurs in men over the age of 40 but they are also prone to occur in children. The exact cause for hydrocele is not known. Hydrocele can vary large in size and very large hydrocele are some times seen in elderly men who may have never complained of a swelling. Hydrocele are painless but large hydroceles can cause discomfort because of their size which would make it difficult for walking. Diagnosis can be done by physical examination, fine needle aspiration , ultrasound of testes .Treatment options available for hydrocele are surgery where the fluid would be drained out, drainage of fluid with a needle.
