Optic Neuropathy :
Optic neuropathy is an eye condition that occurs when optic nerves aren't getting enough blood flow. There are two types of optic neuropathy, such as anterior ischemic optic neuropathy and posterior ischemic optic neuropathy. The symptoms of optic neuropathy are sudden and painless vision loss, blurring or worsened vision across part of the field or view and weakened color vision, headache, swollen arteries in the temples of the head, which don't have a pulse you can feel, muscle pain while chewing, a general feeling of being unwell and unexplained weight loss. Optic neuropathy occurs due to anatomic differences, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, sleep apnea, low blood pressure while sleeping, anemia, smoking, giant cell arteries, blood loss, and surgery. It is to be treated quickly after diagnosis by prescribing medications.
