Juvenile Arthritis :
Juvenile arthritis is the most common arthritis occurring in children under the age of 16. The cause of juvenile arthritis is unknown. It is an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks the joints of the body, causing inflammation of the body. The symptoms of juvenile arthritis are swelling, joint pains, stiffness, rashes, fever, swollen lymph nodes, loss of appetite, fatigue, weight loss, etc. The diagnostic tests that are done to diagnose juvenile arthritis are imaging tests like X-rays, MRI scans, ultrasounds, blood tests, urine tests. The goal of the treatment for juvenile arthritis is to reduce pain and swelling, preventing joint damage. The treatment options for juvenile arthritis are medications, physiotherapy and occupational therapy. There are some self care practices to limit the effects are having physical activity, consuming healthy food, applying cold packs, and hot packs.
