Bonemarrow Specialist :
A bone marrow specialist is also known as a hematologist. A hematologist is a medical professional who diagnoses and treats diseases in blood and blood-forming organs, including the bone marrow and the lymph nodes. They treat diseases like anemia, clotting disorders of blood, leukemia, lymphoma, and other forms of blood cancers. They also handle bleeding disorders, immunological disorders involving the blood, and situations requiring blood transfusions. A hematologist earns an MBBS degree along with an MD in Medicine or Pediatrics and then gets super specialty training with a DM degree in Clinical Hematology. They request blood tests, bone marrow biopsies, or even imaging studies to ascertain the condition for treatment that would include medication, blood transfusions, chemotherapy for cancers, or sometimes even stem cell transplants in patients. This way, bone marrow specialists asses the blood and create a connection between the patients and their symptoms and conclude a condition for which they provide treatment. They help in improvement of the quality of people's life through the administration of various treatments of complicated blood disorders.
